Bus Tubes

For high current and AC systems, the best conductor form is a tube. The annulus cross section, when sized properly, minimizes the skin effect and AC resistance. Watteredge engineers have mastered designing bus systems using air and water cooled tubes. Although Bus Tubes are most effective for AC systems, they have found use in high current DC applications where the tube simplifies the water cooling circuit. We have years of experience working with tubular systems including specialty low impedance Coaxial Assemblies and enclosed Water Cooled Interleaved Bus Ducts.
