Isolating or Disconnect Switches
Watteredge High Current Isolating Switch assemblies are designed for severe applications that require load disconnect from source or other sectionalizing of high current circuits.
The Watteredge Disconnect Switch uses a proprietary sealed silver contact assembly. Switch assemblies are designed in arrangements of one to multiple contacts. This provides the capability of disconnecting 6kA, 12kA, 18kA, 24kA or 30kA, respectively. The switches have the capability to be ganged and driven from a common shaft for larger ampacity requirements.
